GST/HST New Housing RebateThis program provides a rebate on the goods and services tax (GST) or the harmonized sales tax (HST) paid on the construction or purchase of newly constructed or substantially renovated homes.
Home Buyers' Plan (HBP)This program allows eligible taxpayers to withdraw funds from their registered retirement savings plan (RRSP) to purchase or build a first home.
Mortgage Loan InsuranceThis program provides insurance on loans granted for the purchase, construction, renovation or refinancing of single-family homes or multiple rental housing.
Northern Ontario Energy CreditThe Northern Ontario Energy Credit helps low- to moderate-income individuals 18 years of age and older and families living in Northern Ontario with their home energy costs.
Ontario Energy and Property Tax CreditThe Ontario Energy and Property Tax Credit helps low- to moderate-income individuals 18 years of age and older, and families, with the sales tax they pay on energy and with property taxes.
Provincial Land Tax Deferral Program for Low-Income Seniors and Low-Income Persons with DisabilitiesLow-Income Seniors and Low-Income Persons with Disabilities may apply for a partial deferral of Provincial Land Tax and Education Tax. The tax deferral applies to the tax increase in the current year and not to outstanding taxes.
One-time top-up to the Canada Housing BenefitThis benefit aims to help low-income renters with the cost of renting. You may be eligible for a tax-free one-time payment of $500 if your income and the amount that you pay on rent qualify.
